The MRA Renegade features an innovative spring-assisted, straight-pull, magazine-fed operating system. It is built around a proprietary receiver and bottom metal assembly, along with a custom bolt carrier that incorporates a reversible charging handle for left- or right-handed use. Engineered to operate exclusively as a manually cycled firearm, the Renegade is not capable of semi-automatic fire. Its unique action and original design are not based on any restricted or prohibited platform. As a result of its straight-pull mechanism and distinct engineering, it qualifies as a non-restricted firearm under the applicable provisions of the Canadian Firearms Act and related regulations. The standard Renegade rifle configuration is designed to deliver a lightweight platform without sacrificing durability, precision, or reliability. The R1 handguard provides versatile accessory mounting options and integrates seamlessly with the receiver for a smooth, snag-free profile.
